Captain of the Day Schedule

As Captain of the Day, it is your responsibility to:

1.                  Obtain a speaker

2.                  Prepare the room for the meeting for your day3.                  Perform/delegate the following duties:  Prayer, Pledge and Recite the Four-Way Test.

As soon as you have scheduled your speaker, please email/call all of the following:  Rob Kaser (rob.kaser@appalachianbank.com; (706) 745-5571); Dave Hopkins (dave@angiosystems.net; (423) 496-3221); Leland Rymer (leland.rymer@thehomebank.com; (423) 496-6117).  Should you have difficulty scheduling a speaker, call Rob Kaser to assist you.

Preparing the room means arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting to get the tables and chairs situated.  You are additionally responsible to get the head table situated with tablecloth, podium, bell, etc.; as well as getting the banners hung, getting welcome table set up including name tags, sign-in sheet, etc..

It is anticipated that you schedule your speaker 2 weeks prior to your scheduled time.  It is helpful to request a bio on your speaker since you will be responsible for introducing your speaker.  Please let your speaker know that his/her timeframe to speak is for approximately 15-20 minutes.  (Be sure to inform your speaker to allow time for questions.)  Ask your speaker if he/she has any particular logistic need such as overhead projector and be sure that need is handled prior to the meeting.

In the unlikely event you are unable to fulfill your Captain of the Day responsibilities; it is YOUR responsibility to get someone to fill in for you.  Contact the above mentioned folks to make them aware of the change as well.
